Fairways at West Terrace is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Cheney, Washington.
Fairways at West Terrace opened for play in 1987. The course was designed by Keith Hellstrom.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6408 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5142 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 537 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 145 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 525 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 4, a 145 yard par-3.

Play was a week after a major-area tournament. The fairways were in overall good condition (it has been a hot summer). The greens were brutal quick and in great condition. The pro shop is good, but not anything special and there is a nice lounge area. Usually easy to got a tee time. Staff was friendly.

Very links oriented course and situated by the city airport. As a consequence, it is always windy, so you better bring your wind game. Not overly challenging, but surprisingly highly rated slope. Improved my USGA index but this proves difficult when playing tight, tree-lined courses, which dominate courses in Spokane.
